Obituary

Wolff Garritano, loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, 74 , of Syracuse passed away Tuesday August 22, 2023, at Crouse Hospital after a long hard-fought illness. Wolff was born in Heidelberg, Germany. He attended LeMoyne College and Syracuse University where he earned a bachelor’s in political science and later graduated from Syracuse University School of Architecture. Wolff worked as an architect with the firm he started, Chrissy and Garritano.

Left to cherish Wolff’s memory are his wife, the former Christine Tabor, a daughter Erica (Justin) Mayer of Potosi, WI, three grandchildren Sarah, Levi, and Katie Mayer, two brothers Raphael (Mary) Garritano of Stone Ridge, NY, Stephen Garritano of Vancouver, Washington, a sister Silvana Siddali of St. Louis, MO niece and nephews, Laura, John, and James.

Calling hours will be from 3-6 PM Sunday September 10, 2023, at Gang Memorial Chapel, 104 Fordham Road Syracuse 13203

Services will be 12:00 noon on Monday September 11, 2023, at St. Vincent de Paul Church 342 Vine St, Syracuse where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
