William C. LaRose

William C. LaRose (88) of Liverpool, NY Passed quietly to the hands of his lord in the early moments of Saturday February 12th.  Affectionately known as Billy, he loved life and lived it to the fullest.  He lived his life as a man of strong faith and courage.  Billy graduated from North Side HS and went into the Navy at 18 where he served on a Destroyer for 4 years.  Billy met Honey his childhood sweetheart and were married in 1955.  After attending business school, he worked in sales and retired as the VP of Sales at Mid-State Printing in Syracuse.

There is so much good to say about this exceptional man.  Respected by his business associates and deeply loved by his family and friends.  Billy was a wonderful Husband, Father and Grandfather.  He spent his free time through-out his life in the Thousand Islands, The Adirondacks. Fishing, Hiking, Hunting, Skiing, Nature in general, he also was an avid Tennis player and loved his orange Corvette.  After retirement Billy spent much of his time with his Grandchildren.  His love, strength and wisdom will be treasured always in our hearts.  Journey on in peace and love until we meet again.  On to the next adventure, he lived it to the fullest and had one heck of a great run.

Survived by his wife RoseMarie (Honey) LaRose, daughter Colette Ricks, son-in law Robert Ricks, grandchildren Tyler and Lily Ricks, also brother Richard and his family all of the Syracuse area.

Memorial Services for both Honey and Bill will be on April 28th at 3:00pm at Gang Memorial Chapel.
