Obituary

Rose Marie LaRose (Honey) 87 of Liverpool NY passed away on March 1st. She graduated from North High School and worked as a secretary for a brief period of time before marrying the love of her young life, William LaRose. They were married until February 12 of this year when he also passed away. They had a rare and extraordinary life together. My mother. Wow. She was all a mom, a nana and a wife could be and then some. Strong, courageous, fierce, gentle and so loving. She taught us about faith, endurance, kindness and forgiveness. About always being there when a loved one or friend needs you. She was our rock. She loved to cook, dance, good movies and she loved animals. She always said thank God for our dark sense of humor because we will need it on this mysterious, wondrous and very difficult journey called life. I have been so privileged and blessed to call this amazing woman my mother and my best friend. This isn’t goodbye, just a temporary absence until we meet again. So for now, we love you and miss you. Journey on in peace and Gods love

Survived by her daughter Colette Ricks, son-in law Robert Ricks, grandchildren Tyler Ricks and Lily Ricks.

Memorial Service for both Honey and Bill will be on April 28th at Gang Memorial Chapel.
