Rita Lanty Klasen, 93, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on Sunday at James Square.
She was a life resident of Syracuse. Rita was retired from Onondaga County. She was predeceased by her husband Robert P. Klasen in 1975 and a son Robert Klasen in 2008.
Rita is survived by a son Charles, two daughters Joanne (Frank) Mastropalo and Janet (Don), a sister Jean Diamond, fifteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.
Prayer Service at 1:00PM Thursday at Gang Memorial Chapel. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 11-1PM at the funeral home 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave.
