Obituary

Walter A. Ammann August 4, 2012 Walter A. Ammann,85, of Manlius passed away on Saturday after a courageous battle with lymphoma. Born in Pompey, he was a life long resident of Manlius operating the White Cross Farm until his retirement. He was a member of the Swiss Social Club. He was predeceased by his brothers John and Alois Ammann, a sister Margaret Marti. Walter is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years Dorothy V. Ammann, Step daughter Janet (Alan) Norris, of Chittenango, grandchildren Brian (Lysa) Norris, Stacy Norris, Stephanie Norris, Andrew Mancari, Gregory (Alia) Mancari, a great granddaughter, a niece, nephews and several cousins. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Daniel Bingham and his staff at Hematology-Oncology Associates; St. Joesph's Oncology Unit and the Staff at Chittenango Ceneter for their compassionate care. Services 10:00am Saturday in the First Baptist Church, at the corner of Pleasant and North St. Manlius. Burial in Nelson Rural Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday 4-7 pm at Gang Memorial Chapel 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave., Syracuse In Lieu of flowers Contributions to to First Baptist Church of Manlius or Chittenango Center Resident Council Activities Account, Russell St. Chittenango N.Y.
