Thomas P. Mahoney March 10, 2019 Thomas (Tom) Mahoney, 54, of Bellevue, Washington, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 10 with his loving family by his side. Tom was born in Syracuse, NY, and lived in Ontario, California, before settling in Washington State. Tom graduated from Interlake High School, attended North Seattle College, and later embarked on a career as a Marine Engineer for 27 years with the Washington State Ferry System. Tom was loved by all who met him and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. Tom brought joy and laughter to everyone he met. His smile and wit will be dearly missed by all those who had the privilege to know him. Tom had many interests including cooking, music, enjoying time with family, working on mechanics and cars. He also loved the outdoors and appreciated nature and animals. Tom was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Lois Mahoney. Tom is survived by his wife, Joan; sons, Ryan, Connor, and Liam; daughters, Alexie and Lois. Tom is also survived by his sisters, Melanie (Gary) Stopyra of Syracuse; Melody Francine Primm, April (Dan) Burton; brothers, Richard (Anne) Mahoney, Jonathan Mahoney, Edward Mahoney, all of Seattle; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held on March 15 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, with Christian burial at Miller -Woodlawn Cemetery, in Bremerton, Washington.
