Suzanne Casterline

Suzanne Casterline, 84, of San Diego, CA, passed away October 23, 2023. Suzanne was born and lived in Syracuse, NY, the majority of her life. The last nine years, she enjoyed spending time with her daughter in San Diego.

Suzanne was predeceased by her husband, Ira D. Casterline; daughter, Suzanne Savastano; parents, Alan and Isabel Thompson; and sister, Isabelle Rhody.

She is survived by her daughters, Paula Hess of San Diego, CA, and Heather Hess of Syracuse, a son, Ira A. Casterline of Buffalo, NY; grandchildren, MIchael (Kara) Savastano, Vincent (Bettyjo) Savastano, Joseph (Courtney) Savastano, and Cecilia Casterline; nine great-grandchildren; and nephew, Alan (Debra) Rhody.

Calling hours will be from 4-6 PM Wednesday November 8, 2023 at Gang Memorial Chapel 104 Fordham Road Syracuse, NY 13203 where a time of sharing memories will begin immediately following calling hours. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday November 9, 2023, in Oakwood -Morningside Cemetery, Syracuse.
