Stephanie Mazgala Herbacynko, 87, of Syracuse passed away Saturday at Oneida Extended Health Center. She was a life resident of Syracuse. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Stella was known for her good cooking especially her fried chicken and mashed potatoes.  She loved to take care of family pets and neighborhood animals. She was a devoted member of Transfiguration Church and involved with its Christian Mother's Club and active member of the Altar and Rosary Society.  She was predeceased by her husband Stanley in 1985. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Richard) Hedrick, of Central Square, Sharle (Steven) Tassone, of Canastota, three granddaughters, Alyssa, Alexis and Aryn Tassone. Services 10:30 AM Tuesday in Gang Memorial Chapel, 11:00 AM in Transfiguration Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by her nephew Rev. John DeLorenzo. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
