Sharon A. Monroe December 3, 2014 Sharon A. Langford Monroe, 69, of Central Square passed away peacefully on Wednesday at St. Joseph' Hospital. She was a life resident of the Syracuse area. Sharon retired in 1989 from Centro Bus after 19 years of service. She was a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union 580.  Sharon specially enjoyed driving bus for the Vision Impaired. She was in the US Army Reserves from 1978 to 1981 attached with the 376th Combat Hospital Unit. Sharon active with the American Business Women Assoc. of Syracuse, volunteered with the American Red Cross and Special Olympics. She was predeceased by her parents James and Marion Langford. She is survived by her son David, of San Diego five sisters, Diane Salatti, of Marcellus, Elizabeth Case, of Baldwinsville, Irene Weir, of Cato, Connie Langford, of Central Square, Linda Daniels, of California and several nieces and nephews.
