Marie June "Penny" Eger (born June 30, 1930) passed away March 10, 2020 at age 89. She was a lifetime resident of Syracuse, NY, supporter of the arts, gardener, and cat breeder. She was predeceased by her life companion, Mary Jane Osborne, and her parents, Marian and Edward Eger.

She is survived by her sister, M. Edwina Norton of Fayetteville, NY, four nieces and a nephew, numerous grand nieces and nephews, and her caregiver and companion, Mabel Whitmore.

Memorial service was conducted at Gang Memorial Chapel, Friday, March 13, 2020.
