Joseph P. Maiorano May 24, 2014 Joseph P. Maiorano, 87, of Syracuse, New York died Saturday at St.Joseph's Hospital.  He was a life resident of Syracuse. He was a WWII Army Veteran. Joe retired from the New York Central Railroad. He also was employed with Onondaga County Civic Center. Joe was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Church and a member of Holy Name Society. He enjoyed his Friday Night Card Club at Our Lady of Peace Church. He is predeased by his first wife Carmella in 1989. Joseph is survived by his wife Joyce Peryea of 18 years, a daughter, Antoinette Muhl, 2 grandsons Arthur and Joseph Muhl, great-grandson Joseph, 3 step-sons, Daniel, Joseph, Patrick Peryea, 3 step-daughters, Karen Riedl, Donna Benjamin, Jonelle Potter, 17 step-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren. Services 11:00 AM Wednesday at Our Lady of Peace Church. Burial in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday 9:00-11:00 AM at the church 203 Halcomb St. Lakeland.
