Joanne M. Hildman Thomas, 86, of N. Syracuse passed away Wednesday at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse to Joseph and Marion Mayers Hildman and  has lived in N. Syracuse for 57 years. Joanne was a homemaker. She was a past member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary and Syracuse Turners. She was an avid bowler. Joanne was predeceased by her husband Ronald "Whitey" in 1994.

She is survived by three sons James B.(Linda), Richard R. (Karen) and Joseph L. Thomas. a brother Daniel Hildman. two grandchildren Ryan and Morgan, sister in law Carol Piano, several nieces and nephews.

Private Mass of Christian Burial in St. Daniel's Church. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
