Inez C. Kobus

Inez Cole Kobus, 94, of Liverpool passed away Sunday at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Redwood NY to Wallace and Caroline Cole. She moved to Syracuse in 1945, Inez attended Redwood High School and graduate from Central City Business Institute in 1946. She retried in 1981 from General Electric Co. as an inspector after 33 years of service. She was a Union Member of IUE# 320. She was member of GE's Quarter Century Club. Inez was a longtime member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church. She wrote lyrics for a song published in 1957. Received a distinguished membership plaque 1994 & 1995 from the National Library of Poetry. She liked to write poetry to express the loveliness of words in verse for others to enjoy.
She was predeceased by her husband Alfred in 1979.
Inez is survived by a brother Gordon Cole, of Kirkville, a longtime neighbor and friend Marcia Black, several nieces and nephews.
Services 11:00am Monday at Gang Memorial Chapel. Burial in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt.
