Gunter Niebuhr

Gunter Niebuhr, 85, of Syracuse passed away at home on Monday. He was born in Bielefeld, Germany and came to Syracuse in 1957. He retired  from the Masons Union Local #2. Gunter was a member of the German American Society of CNY. He was predeceased by a daughter Delores Clifford.

Gunter is survived by his wife of 66 years Brigitte Grossert Niebuhr, two daughters Linda (Patrick) O'Brien, Susan Niebuhr, a son Michael Niebuhr, four grandchildren Adam Clifford, Erika O'Brien, Jonathan and Jessica Fitzgibbon, a great grandson Jeremiah Fitzgibbon.
