Gisela E. Cordes, 91 of Syracuse passed away on Monday at Francis House. A native of Mannheim, Germany she came to New York  in 1952, residing 20 years in Westchester County before moving to Syracuse in 1972. She was in Banking and held several Supervisory positions with National Bank of Westchester, White Plains Operations Center in New Rochelle, NY. Gisela retired in 1995 from Chase Manhattan Upstate Operations Center in Syracuse. She received several recognitions and awards for outstanding performance and contributions in Banking.

Gisela is survived by her relatives  George Oehling, Eric K. Oehling, Susan Lazarus and George J. Oehling.

Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday (Nov. 2) at 10:00AM in Our Lady of Hope Church (formerly St. James Church) 4845 S. Salina St. Syracuse. Entombment in St.Mary's Mausoleum, Dewitt. There are no calling hours.
