George C. Wilson,78, of E. Syracuse passed away peacefully on Friday. He was born in Williamsburg, Kentucky and has resided in the Syracuse area most of his life. George owned and operated City Brake for many years before retiring. His life was centered around his work and Family. George was predeceased by a daughter Lisa in 1966, a brother Roger and sister Janice Wilson.

George is survived by his loving wife of sixty years former Linda Chiasson, two sons George (Deborah Jahn), Dennis (Margaret) Wilson, a daughter Kelly (Peter) Winans, three brothers Bobby, Billy and Donnie, three sisters Shirley, Marilou and Linda Sue, all of Kentucky, sister in law Maureen Wilson, nephew Chris Wilson, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 AM in St. Daniel's Church. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-7pm at Gang Memorial Chapel 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave.
