Frank J. Shaughnessy

Francis (Frank) J. Shaughnessy, 86, of Syracuse passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness. He was a life resident of Syracuse. Frank owned and operated the  Shaughnessy Insurance Agency, Syracuse for 45 years before retiring. He was a communicant of Cathedral Church, Syracuse and served as an Usher for many years. Frank was a member of the YMCA and the Knights of Columbus.

Frank is survived by his wife of 65 years former Margaret Aragoni, a son Frank J. (Marilina) Shaughnessy III, a daughter Joanne Shaughnessy Bard, a brother Jerry Shaughnessy, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 10:00am in Cathedral Church, Entombment in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Dewitt. Calling hours are Tuesday 4-7Pm at Gang Memorial Chapel 104 Fordham Rd at Teall Ave.
