Francis P. Iacone April 2,2015 Francis P. Iacone, 87, of Syracuse, passed away April 2, 2015 at his home. Francis was the son of Pasquale & Josephine Iacone both of whom immigrated from Italy. He graduated from Eastwood High School , earning a Chenille Block Letter for Cross –Country Track. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War. Together with his father and brother, he carved a successful career as a partner in the family business, Patsy Iacone & Sons Masonry Contracting, retiring in 1989. Francis was predeceased by his sister Annette and brother Richard. He is survived by his brother, Samuel Iacone;  four nieces and one nephew, Suzanne Iacone, Patricia Ferrara (Carmine), Margaret Burke (Kevin), Carol Eaton (Andrew) and Daniel  Iacone, along with their families. Services 11:00AM Tuesday at Gang Memorial Chapel. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday 4-7PM at the funeral home 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave.
