Filomena Rizzo July 9, 2016 Filomena Gina Falconio Rizzo, 89, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on Saturday. She was born in Rome, NY and has resided in Syracuse most of her life. She retired in 1989 from Syracuse China after 22 years of service. She also worked for WT Grants and the Lyncourt Bakery. Filomena loved her family and enjoyed cooking. She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 2009 and daughter Kim. She is survived by her daughter Paula Hefty, grandchildren Paul, Becky, Amy Finch and Dennis Katie and Brenden Donovan, a sister Olga Quathrone, caregiver Candice Finch. Calling hours are Tuesday  4-6pm with services to follow at Gang Memorial Chapel 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave. Private Entombment in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
