Ella A. Genska September 18, 2013 Ella Applin Genska, 103, formerly of Mattydale passed away Wednesday at the Chittenango Center. She was a life resident of the Syracuse area. Ella graduated from the Memorial School of Nursing in 1932. She was a private duty nurse working for many area doctors. She was a life long member of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Syracuse. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond in 1990 and her son Thomas in 2000. She is survived by two daughters Johanna Gauer and Marion (Bruce) Dunning, Kirkville, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren. Services 2:00PM Saturday at Gang Memorial Chapel. Burial in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Dewitt. Calling hour from 1-2 PM Saturday at the funeral home 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave.
