David J. Shattuck July 13, 2016 David J. Shattuck, 60, of Venice Fla. and formerly of Liverpool passed away suddenly in Venice. He was born in Syracuse the son of Fredrick and Elizabeth Meier Shattuck and resided here until moving to Florida in 2005. He served in the US Army from 1976 to 1982. He was employed with Dr's Hospital as a Dietitian in Sarasota Fla. He was predeceased by his first wife Elisabeth in 1998 and his second wife Debora Puzzullo in 2015, a sister Irene Shattuck. He is survived by a son Jason (Wendy) Shattuck, a daughter Katja (Justin Sevigny) Shattuck, two step sons Paul and Jon (Kitty Putscher) Puzzullo, a brother Tom (Lillian) Shattuck, a sister Rita (James) Snyder, five grandchildren Jaila, Logan, Kai, Kaelynn and Lucas. Calling Hours are Thursday 4-7 pm with services to follow at Gang Memorial Chapel 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave. Private Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt.
