Christel R. Loerzel

Christel R. Loerzel, 63, of N. Syracuse passed away peacefully on Saturday at home. She was a life resident of the Syracuse area. Christel retired from Swift Transportation and stayed at home the last 13 years to be "Nana". She loved animals, having many pets of her own, she volunteered at the SPCA. Christel was predeceased by her Husband Karl Hinman in 2009 and her son Bryan in 2001, Her father Hilmar "Boss" Loerzel in 2018.

Christel is survived by her mother Monika Loerzel, a son Patrick (Lisa) Hinman, a daughter Sonya Hinman, five grandchildren, Rayna, Gabriella, Mason Hinman, Aiden Lippke, Veronica Gang. two step grandchildren Emma, Travis Rowe.

Services Saturday at 10:00am June 11th in Gang Memorial Chapel. Burial in Pine Plains Cemetery , Clay. Calling hours are Friday 4-7pm at the funeral home. 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave.
