Caroline R. Barnes

Caroline Rose Barnes was born on October 6,1938, the daughter of Nilda Armani and Frank Tarolli in Solvay, NY. She was employed by the Syracuse City School District.

After retiring, she was able to enjoy the days by spending time with her family, listening to her favorite artists such Doris Day and Helen Reddy, following her lifelong favorite

baseball team, the New York Yankees and watching mystery shows and movies.

She will be deeply missed by her children, June, Linda, Elizabeth, Lorna, Ronald, Denise, Patricia, Jennifer, foster daughter Glenda and son in laws, Mark, David, John, and Steve, along with her grandchildren, Lisa, David, Carl, Kevin, Brittany, Alex, Stephanie, Ronald, Julia, Nicholas, Max, Nathan, Claudia, Luke, Jon Paul, and Jada. Also her great grandchildren, Alexis, Jared, Tyler, Jaden, Kaileigh, Kaleb, Xavier, Nina, Mila and two more granddaughters nearly here.

She also leaves behind two sisters, Lorna and Catherine along with several nieces and nephews, including her favorite niece, Kristine.

A private graveside service will be held at Onondaga Valley Cemetery in Syracuse, where she will be laid to rest beside Edythe Larison, her guardian who raised her from a young age.
