Arlene V. Ballweg November 3, 2012 Arlene V. Ballweg, 84, of Syracuse passed away Saturday at James Square Nursing Home. Miss Ballweg was a life resident of Syracuse and the daughter of Carl and Iva Bender Ballweg. She was the former Manager of the Syracuse North District Prudential Insurance Co. retiring in 1983 after 37 years of service. Arlene was a volunteer many years at Community General Hospital and a member of its' Auxiliary. She was a longtime member of the Reformed Church, Syracuse. She is survived by one cousin June Allen, of Bridgeport, a lifetime friend Shirley Soergel, a god daughter Nancy Soergel. Services 10:00AM Saturday at Gang Memorial Chapel. Burial In Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hour is Saturday 9-10AM at the funeral home prior to service. Contributions maybe made to your favorite charity.
