Obituary

Anne B. Hoysak May 13, 2011 Anne Bednarczyk Hoysak, 95, died peacefully at home on Friday. Anne was a lifelong resident of Syracuse and Dewitt and summer resident of Otisco Lake. She was a communicant of Transfiguration Church and All Saints (St. Therese) Church and former communicant of Most Holy Rosary. She retired from Sears Roebuck & Co., Salina St. after many years in the Infants and Children's Department. Anne will forever be remembered for her love and devotion to her family and her kind, gentle ways. Anne was predeceased by her husband Matthew in 1988, her sisters Laura Lewandowski, Sally Kerlin, Natalie Slake, Josephine Fero, Irene Thoreck, Teddy Sinausky, and her brother Matthew( Mike) Bednarczyk. Anne is survived by her son Matthew, of North Carolina, a daughter Judith, of Syracuse (Dewitt), grandson Michael (Nicole), of MA, granddaughter Judy (Matt) Anderson, of PA., great granddaughter Natalia, of Ecuador, sister Ceil Luteran, of Syracuse, a special friend Kim (Dennis) Bordeaux, and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 9:30am in Transfiguration Church. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling hours are Tuesday 4-7 pm at Gang Memorial Chapel 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave. Contributions in Anne 's memory may be made to Transfiguration Church, All Saints Church, or Crouse health Foundation.
